Textbooks
Textbooks for online courses are available at the Online Learning bookstore approximately two weeks prior to semester start-up.
Some textbooks may only be available in an e-textbook. A website or link will be provided on the textbook list.
Contact your course instructor within D2L/Brightspace if you have questions about textbook versions.
We will make every effort to process your textbook order within three business days of receiving payment.

Online
To order your textbooks online use the Online Book Order Form below (Visa or Mastercard).
Paying by Student Self Service
- Complete the Printable Book Order Form
- Make a payment on account for the amount owing.
- Email completed order form to dlsbookstore@cna.nl.ca and a copy of the payment receipt for processing.
Paying Cheque or Money Order
- Complete the Printable Book Order Form .
- Mail the book order form and include cheque or money order for the amount owing to:

Sponsored Student
- Complete the Printable Book Order Form
- Email the book order form and include a Confirmation of Sponsorship letter from your funding agency to dlsbookstore@cna.nl.ca.
- NOTE: Books will not be shipped to the student until the Confirmation of Sponsorship letter is received.
Walk-in Service
Available at Clarenville campus (Room 207).
Textbooks are shipped using Canada Post.
- Delivery standards vary from 3-5 business days. Longer shipping times will apply based upon remote and out of province locations. You are encouraged to order early to avoid shipping delays.
- NOTE: We are unable to ship textbooks internationally.
- An email with the tracking number will be sent by Canada Post to the email address provided with the book order when order is ready for shipping.
- If you do not receive your tracking number within five business days of placing your order, check your junk/spam folder. You may email dlsbookstore@cna.nl.ca to follow-up if you cannot locate your tracking number.
- Due to the increased volume of orders during peak periods, shipping delays may occur.
To initiate a refund request, please complete the Return Pre-authorization form
The following conditions are required for the Bookstore to issue a refund for returned items:
- Items are unmarked, unopened and in saleable or new condition.
- Textbooks - No obvious signs of wear such as bent or torn covers, folded or soiled pages, broken spines, or missing components; contains no stickers, stamps, markings or highlights.
- PIN Codes for Internet access - Sealed packaging is unopened and the pin code has not been accessed.
- A copy of the original purchase receipt must accompany the completed Bookstore Refund Request form
- Student must return item(s) within three weeks of the purchase receipt date included with order. Special circumstances may be considered and are subject to the Bookstore review.
Note: Textbooks deemed non-refundable will be returned to you at your expense unless you request alternate arrangements.
No refund will be issued for the following:
- All shipping fees (both to and from the college).
- Damaged items not reported as damaged at time of acceptance.

Return Process
Returns (along with a copy of your original receipt and the Bookstore Refund Request form ) are to be returned at your expense to:

If you receive damaged items, bookstore personnel will work with you to submit a damaged goods claim with your shipping carrier. Each carrier has its own procedure for damaged claims. Claims are subject to the carrier policies and procedures.
Bookstore personnel must submit the damaged and lost goods claim to the carrier.
- Report damaged goods by emailing dlsbookstore@cna.nl.ca or calling the bookstore within 30 days of receiving your damaged shipment. Keep all the wrapping, packaging materials, invoices and the damaged item(s), as they will be required to process your claim.
- Textbook orders typically arrive within five business days (may be longer for remote out of province locations). If you do not receive your order within 5 – 7 business days, email dlsbookstore@cna.nl.ca.ca for follow-up.
Liability Coverage for up to $100 is included.
You will be notified once your claim has been processed.
