Student Orientation is designed to help new and returning Online Learning students prepare for a successful semester. It's an opportunity to connect with support staff, learn about key services and resources, and get answers to your questions before classes begin.
During orientation, you'll learn about:
- Student support services
- Brightspace and online learning tools
- Registration and important deadlines
- Academic resources and student success tips
- Who to contact when you need assistance

Orientation sessions are intended for Online Learning students, including both new and returning students.
Campus-based student? Contact the Student Development Officer at your campus for orientation information.
Orientation sessions are delivered online through Microsoft Teams and can be joined from a computer, tablet, or smartphone with an internet connection.
- Have access to a reliable internet connection
- Install Microsoft Teams (available in the Office 365 Suite).
- Test your device and audio settings
- Access your CNA Webmail account regularly for updates
A microphone and webcam are not required. Questions can be asked using the session's text chat feature.

Orientation Welcome Package

The package contains important information about online learning, student services, Brightspace, academic expectations, key contacts, and resources to support your success.
Orientation Session Information
Details about upcoming orientation sessions will be sent to your CNA Webmail account before the semester begins. Be sure to check your email regularly for dates, times, and joining instructions.
