Login Issues

A compilation of common login problems and possible solutions have been provided below if you are experiencing trouble logging in. If none of these solutions solve your problem, please contact the Help Desk.


Login Problems and Possible Solutions

You are a new student and your password does not work

Problem:
You are a new student and your password does not work.

Solution:
New students will not be able to login until they activate their account through CNA Student Webmail on the first day of classes.

You are a returning student and you get the message Invalid Username/Password

Problem:
You are a returning student and you get the message Invalid Username/Password.

It may be that your password has expired. Passwords expire every 120 days.

Solution:
You can verifiy if your password has expired and change it by login into your CNA Student Webmail account at http://webmail.cna.nl.ca/. For assistance please contact the Help Desk.

Solution:
You can reset your password by accessing Student Self Service - Password Reset. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password in the personal (alternate) email address you provided to Admissions during registration. For assistance please contact the Help Desk.

You are a returning student who can login, however you are not be able to see your courses

Problem:
You are a returning student who can login, however you are not be able to see your courses.

Solution:
Returning students will not be able to view their courses until the official class start date.

Classes have started and still cannot login

Problem:
Classes have started and still cannot login.

Solution:
Your application/registration may not be processed. If registered via the DL online registration system, allow 3-5 business days for processing. Please contact the Help Desk for further information.

Solution:
There may be a firewall installed that is blocking your connection. Contact your organization's technical support for assistance.

Solution:
Ensure that your system is properly configured for our online courses by clicking here the System Check or on the login screen.

Solution:
If you still cannot login, contact the Help Desk. for assistance.


Note: If you don't know your Student Number contact the Admissions office where you registered. Students outside the province, please contact the DL Help Desk by emailing dlshelp@cna.nl.ca or calling 1.877.465.2250 (option 1).
