Student ID Cards

Your student identification card confirms that you are a College of the North Atlantic student. This card has your photograph, name, student number, program and personal signature on it. You can use it for all kinds of activities, from borrowing and purchasing materials from campus libraries and bookstores, to proving your identity at banks, student aid and writing exams. For these reasons, please carry your student ID card with you at all times.

Your first ID card will be issued free of charge at the beginning of your program. Should you need a replacement card, a $15 charge will apply.

Students taking on-line courses are encouraged to visit a CNA campus to obtain an ID card.

Please see the schedule here for dates at a campus nearest you.

Workload Expectations

The BAA Time Management and Workload Assessment Guide is designed to help students realistically assess the time commitment required for success in the B.A.A. ECE program. Effective time management involves more than organizing a schedule; it also requires an honest evaluation of work, family, caregiving, and personal responsibilities alongside academic expectations. The information provided outlines the estimated weekly workload for courses and semesters so students can make informed decisions about course load and pacing. By reflecting on available time and competing commitments, students can better determine whether a full-time or part-time pathway is the most sustainable option. The goal of this resource is to support student well-being, reduce unnecessary stress, and encourage meaningful engagement with course learning rather than simply meeting deadlines. Accurate workload assessment can help students plan ahead, balance responsibilities, and create a more manageable and successful academic experience.
