Permission to write a deferred exam is a privilege, not a right, granted solely on the basis of extenuating circumstances.
Requests, along with supporting documentation, must be submitted within two (2) days after the date on which the regular examination was scheduled.
All fields are mandatory. Requests received with incomplete information will not be processed. Incomplete requests will be returned to the student for resubmission.
A deferred exam can be requested if:
you have an exam conflict - two exams scheduled for the same time slot.
you have three (or more) exams scheduled within one 24-hour period.
you have fallen seriously ill.
a death has occurred in the immediate family (documentation such as obituary required).
you are unable to reschedule work commitments (documentation from employer required).
other acceptable cause is provided (assessed on a case-by-case basis)
